Some dogs come for half days of 4 hrs. and many stay as long as 10-12 hrs. a day. During this time dogs play, rest, eat, go for walks or just hang out. The best part is when you come home from a hard, long day at work your pet is in the same state of mind that as you are and both of you can simply chill out together.

Being around other dogs as well as other people allows your pet to become well socialized. We have had many building managers, doormen and residents from the area report to us that the dogs that do come for daycare are very well behaved and happy - they are quieter in the hallways, in their apartments and very friendly toward other dogs and people in the building.

Personalized Attention

• Dogs are never put in cages

• We group the dogs by size and temperament - the groups are picked by Brandon our resident animal behavioralist to ensure great groups

• We run with the dogs and they are not left alone in the playroom

• If your dog does not do well in group play or needs added exercise we will exercise and play with them individually

• The playroom configuration changes so that it remains interesting to the dogs

Your Dog's Health

• The facility is kept at a constant 78 degrees year round

• The facility is outfitted with a HEPA air filtration system allowing for constant circulation of fresh clean air

• The playroom is covered with a cushioned flooring system that is gentle on the joints

• The flooring is also designed for easy cleanup reducing the spread of parasites

• We design individual programs, based on the energy level of your dog

There is a one time membership fee of $250 for new clients providing them access to all our packages and discounts. Each additional dog will be charged $150.

Package Guidelines

Packages are only available to members All packages based on a calendar month - If a client does not use all the days purchased in a calendar month those days are forfeited -->

Clients must have a valid credit card on file and will be charged automatically on the 1st of each month unless we are instructed otherwise. Clients whose credit cards fail to process will be charged an additional 5% to the outstanding charge.

All Packages are PRE-PAID and NON-REFUNDABLE

Daycare Policies

Late Fees: Clients who pick up their daycare dogs after 7:30 PM will be subject to a $15 late fee (except Anytime package members). As of 10:00 PM the dog will automatically be considered boarding (see boarding rates) and can be picked up the following day. On holidays (e.g. Christmas Day), all dogs regardless of package must be picked up by 7:30 PM.

Early Fees: Clients dropping off their dog earlier than 7:30 AM will be subject to a $15 early fee.

Holiday Surcharge: A $10 surcharge will be applicable to all holidays.

Pick Up/Drop Off Policies

Timing Considerations:

There will be no pickups/drop-offs over the weekends or during federal holidays

For non-packaged transportation we require a one-hour window around the scheduled time of pick-up/drop-off. We reserve the right at any time to increase the window around your desired time. Our transportation packages require a two-hour window.

24 Hour Reservation Notification: All clients will be required to give at least a 24 hour advance notification if they wish to guarantee that their dog will be picked up/dropped off as we may not be able to accommodate a same day/last minute request. In the event we are able to facilitate a late request there will be a $10 additional charge.

Cancellation Policy: Clients will be allowed to cancel their reservations up to 2 hours prior to pick up/drop off. Cancellations made inside of 2 hours will result in the full charge of the pick up/drop off. On holiday weekends cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to arrival will result in the full charge of the pick up/drop off.

Walks During Daycare and Boarding

Walks are provided for the dogs during the time they are at Pets at Play by request of the owner only. The charge for outside walks throughout the day is $10 per day and includes relief walks throughout our daycare hours from 7:30 AM-7:30 PM. If your dog is not using the bathroom throughout the day we will in the best interest of the dog provide relief walks as needed.

Dog Walking Policies

We require the following in order to facilitate walks:
- A set of keys to the apartment and/or written permission of access with the doorman/concierge
- A collar/harness and leash left in a convenient location
- A towel for wiping the dog down in case of rain
- Access to the dogs water bowl
Note: In the event we cannot gain access to your apartment you will be charged the full amount of the walk

Timing Considerations: Walks will only be conducted between the hours of 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday (Relief Walks will be done all week round). In the event of an emergency we will try to accommodate last minute walks (see 24 Reservation Notification below)

Walk Area: Please inquire with us as to whether we will be able to walk your dog based on the location of your residence. We typically do walks for dogs living outside of a 5 block radius of the facility (between 40th St. and 50th St. and 8th Avenue and 12th Avenue)
